The ezLCD-001-EDK is an intelligent LCD Module Development Kit that includes the ezLCD-001-EvalBoard, Sony 2.7" Color TFT LCD, and comes mounted as a complete assembly with a built-in Earth LCD controller card and integrated USB and serial interfaces. Earth's ezLCD meets the needs of OEMs, industrial manufacturers, and hobbyists that require small or large quantities of a low cost color LCD in a very small form factor.
The many features included in the ezLCD make it an excellent choice as a PC status monitor, embedded system display, or suitable for integration into a diverse array of industrial products (micro-controller, robotics, industrial interface).

Internal DC-DC converter accounts for a wide supply voltage range of 3-7 VDC (can be powered by USB port or external power supply)
Driven by an extensive set of graphic, text and system instructions including: DOWNLOAD_BITMAP, SET_COLOR, SELECT_FONT, PRINT, LINE, CIRCLE, POINT, SET_BAUDRATE, etc. (firmware can be updated through embedded RS232)
96k bytes of Flash and 4k bytes of EEPROM available for custom fonts, icons, etc. (uploadable via RS232 or USB)
