EarthLCD provides a family of small form factor intelligent programmable serial LCD Modules known as ezLCD. ezLCD is ideal for many applications including digital signage (such as a rotating coupon advertisement on a store shelf), or for use as a progammable display or status monitor within an embedded system or product. Touch versions of ezLCD are ideal as an interface for an industrial control, an embedded system, a product, or even home automation. ezLCD is easy to program using a standard serial connection, USB or Mini-USB (depending on model), and the provided ezLCDrom utility that ships with the product. ezLCD supports uploading of bitmap images and TrueType(TM) fonts. Bitmap images can be placed as icons along with text anywhere on the display to create a customizable user interface, or images can be sized to full screen for a rotating banner.
