This is a brand new never used LCD assembly out of a phone console.

This chip turns the JW-002 into a "dumb terminal" that displays whatever you send to it on the RxD pin at 19200 baud. It has several other features that are well documented at this site, and they provide the full source code for it on the firmware download page.
