Explanation about Earth's Standard Warranty & Extended Warranty Coverage

Notebook computer owners who have hardware problems become painfully aware that the LCD in their notebook is the most expensive component.
Any LCD product is worth protecting with an Extended Warranty to protect your investment. And the peace of mind of knowing you are securing the future health and possibly extending the life of your electronics is well worth the nominal upfront cost.
STANDARD WARRANTY COVERAGE
EarthLCD Solution Based Products:
LCD Monitor: 1 Year Warranty
LCD Kit: 1 Year Warranty
EarthLCD offers a standard 1 Year on all Earth Solution Based products including LCD Monitors and LCD Kits. This includes the LCD screen when sold within a solution based product.
LCD Screens:
LCD Screen warranties are based on the condition sold as (this applies only when sold separately, when sold within a solution based product please see above):
LCD CONDITION:
NEW LCD or New Pulls: 90 Day Warranty
Refurbished or Used LCD: 90 Day Warranty
Untested, Unqualified, or Unknown Condition LCD: 30 Day Warranty

EXTENDED WARRANTY COVERAGE
Extended Warranty coverage is for 1 Year and begins from the date that Standard Warranty coverage expires and may also be based in conjunction with the date the Extended Warranty coverage was approved.
Extended Warranty coverage is only available for ENCLOSED solution based products such as LCD Monitors (as opposed to LCD Kits which are not enclosed). Extended Warranty coverage is generally not available for non-enclosed products or components.
Submission for Extended Warranty coverage is subject to acceptance by EarthLCD.
How To Order Extended Warranty Coverage:
Usually if Extended Warranty coverage is available for a product the Extended Warranty will show on the website as a 'Related Item' when viewing the product detail page of the product.
Add quantity 1 of Extended Warranty for each specific item you want covered with extra protection. Example: if you order 2 monitors and want both of them covered with an Extended Warranty you would need to add quantity 2 of the Extended Warranty to your Shopping Cart.
Extended Warranty must be placed at time of original product Order. Submission for Extended Warranty coverage when not placed at time of original product Order, or submission for Extended Warranty coverage for products not eligible for an Extended Warranty are subject to refusal at Earth's discretion.
If submission for Extended Warranty coverage is not placed at time of original product Order, product testing and evaluation by EarthLCD may be required before confirmation of acceptance of the Extended Warranty coverage (product must be returned to EarthLCD for testing and serial number verification).
In the event that Extended Warranty coverage is denied, no charge will be placed for the Extended Warranty against the Customer's account, the Extended Warranty will be removed from the Order, and the Customer will be notified of the cicumstances regarding the warranty.
